This blog begins as all blogs do, with a first post.

And in these first posts, there is typically an introduction to what the blog will be covering:
This particular blog is going to be about the internet.

Not just web-design, coding practices, and time-saving techniques (although we'll have a fair share of those as well) but, the entire internet.

In the same way Robert A. Heinlein wrote about grokking as full, deep understanding in "Stranger in a Strange Land" we intend to "grok" the internet. It is our philosophy at The Lucky Bead that, in order to grok the internet, one must understand every aspect of it and at the same time, contribute back to it.

So this blog is about the internet: understanding the internet, utilising the internet, and contributing back to the internet.

At The Lucky Bead, we hope that our series of articles helps you grok the internet, as well as allows us to grok it as well.
